I have made and interesting observation over the past few months in normal correspondence with friends and associates. A good friend of mine who owns an Auto body shop here in Las Vegas and gets most of his business from insurance claims says that his industry is down considerably. He said that Las Vegas Highway Patrol Reports 500 new cars a day on the highways but car wrecks are way down and have been since the drop in the Las Vegas Real Estate Market. He said that his industry has been following the real estate market trend. Interestingly enough, as I was talking to another manager in our office he said that his Book Keeper who has clients in several different industries said that all of her clients are reporting the same thing, even the mattress shops. It's almost like when you wake up in the morning and your having a bad day and it seems to be the same day that everyone else is having a bad day too! Maybe it's contagious! A PHENOMENON! If there is something to this I think that we better get our butts in gear and CHANGE OUR ATTITUDE!
